Liveclicker Cookie Policy for Liveclicker Websites

Our use of cookies

This Cookie Policy describes how Liveclicker, Inc. (“Liveclicker”, “we”, or “us”) collects various computer identification data about you during your use of our website (the “Sites”, including,,, the RealTime Email platform customer portal, and any other sites that link to this Cookie Policy) by placing various cookies on your computer or mobile device. We use the term “cookies” in this Notice to refer to website cookies and also to similar technologies that may collect information automatically when you visit the Sites or open emails delivered using the RealTime Email platform (such as pixel tags and web beacons). Among other things, cookies help us improve our Services and your experience. We use cookies to see which areas and features are popular and to count visits to our Sites.

This Cookie Policy provides more information on the variety of cookies we use and how you can control the use of those cookies on your computer or mobile device. For information about our other data privacy practices, please visit our Privacy Notice. By using our websites, you accept the use of cookies in accordance with this Cookie Policy, subject to any choices you make as described below.

What are cookies and other tracking technologies?

Cookies are small text files that a web server places on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website in order to collect various identification data, which includes general information about your computer settings and your connection to the Internet – e.g. your operating system and platform, IP address, browsing patterns and timings of browsing on the Sites and your location. This small text file may include a unique identifier that distinguishes your computer or mobile device from other devices. Cookies serve a number of purposes such as letting you navigate between webpages efficiently, remembering your preferences, personalizing emails, and generally improving the user experience. Cookies may tell us, for example, whether you have visited the Sites before or whether you are a new visitor. They can also help to ensure that content we display in our customers emails through the RealTime Email platform more relevant to you and your interests.

Cookies can remain on your computer or mobile device for different periods of time. Some cookies are “session cookies”. These exist only while your browser is open and are deleted automatically once you close your browser. Other cookies are “persistent cookies”. These cookies survive after your browser is closed until a defined expiration date. They can be used by websites to recognize your computer when you open your browser and browse the Internet again.

We and others may also use other technologies for tracking, such as pixel tags and web beacons. Web beacons and pixel tags are electronic images that may be used on Sites or in our and our customers’ emails. We use web beacons, for example, to deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage of the Sites and services, analyze the effectiveness of Site features and campaigns, and tell if an email has been opened and acted upon and to deliver tailored content.

Types of cookies we use

Web site analytics

This type of cookie, including analytics cookies conducted by third-party services, allows Liveclicker to understand how users interact with our Sites so that we can make improvements to the Sites and related services, remember you when you return to the Sites, understand your preferences and interests, and know which of our web pages are visited and what services are most often used.  For example, using web site analytics, we can observe which links users click on, how users access the Sites, errors they encounter, their device identifiers, web pages they visit on prior to coming to our Sites, and what page(s) were visited on the Sites before a user leaves the Sites.

We and our third-party partners may use information collected using cookies our services and in our emails to deliver ads about our services displayed to you on third-party websites and applications. We also may use cookies to know when you return to our services after visiting these third-party websites and applications. Our third-party partners may also use this information for third-party advertising. These third parties may automatically collect information, including information about your use of our services, visits to the Sites and other websites, your IP address, your internet service provider, and the browser you use to visit the Sites.

Essential or required cookies

We use cookies within our RealTime Email platform customer portal to allow our customers to login to our platform. This lets us know who has logged in and from where, which is essential for us to manage the security of the platform. If you disable cookies in your browser, you will not be able to login to RealTime Email.

How to control and delete cookies

If you wish to restrict or block the cookies which are set by Liveclicker, or indeed any other website, you can do this through your browser settings.  You may manage or opt-out of certain uses of many cookies served through the Sites by using the links provided below.

Most internet browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can change the settings of your browser to erase cookies or prevent automatic acceptance if you prefer. Please note: if you turn off cookies in your browser then these settings apply to all websites you may visit. On some browsers, you can choose to let the Sites place cookies, but choose to reject cookies from certain third parties (such as analytics or advertising companies). As the precise means by which you may do this will vary from browser to browser, please visit your browser’s help or settings menu for more information. Since your cookie opt-out preferences are also stored in a cookie in your website browser, please also note that if you delete all cookies, use a different browser, or buy a new computer, you will need to renew your opt-out choices.

The links below explain how you can control cookies via your browser:

Please be aware that restricting cookies may impact on the functionality of the Liveclicker website and RealTime Email.

Do Not Track

Some Internet browsers include the ability to transmit “Do Not Track” signals. The Sites do not currently process or respond to “Do Not Track” signals. To learn more about “Do Not Track”, please visit “All About Do Not Track”.

In addition to “Do Not Track”, there are many ways that web browser signals and similar mechanisms can indicate your tracking choices, and we may not be aware of nor honor every mechanism.

Email tracking

LiveClicker may also use e-mail tracking technologies to monitor the success of e-mail campaigns it operates (for example, recording how many e-mails in a campaign were opened) and to personalize content within emails delivered using the RealTime Email platform. If you do not want us to track emails we send you or sent through the RealTime Email platform, some email services let you change your display to turn off HTML or disable download of images and exercising these rights should effectively disable our email tracking. You may also unsubscribe from our marketing emails as described in those emails.
